Tim
McDonald
Born in Worcester Massachusetts, guitarist Tim McDonald migrated to the San Francisco music scene in the early seventies, forming the band Rescue with radio airplay on the renowned rock station KSAN, then going on with the regionally popular Charles Biscuit Band. After a failed recording deal, he went to LA to find musical success, doing studio and live performances at all the major venues for showcasing original talent.
Tim relocated to Connecticut in the 90’s where he’s performed with his band as well as done solo acoustic all over the state. His other band projects included the Kortchmar McDonald band with Danny Kortchmar, the guitarist/ songwriter for James Taylor and others, and the ever-popular McDonald Teague Band with local legend Burt Teague.
Tim currently performs with many different bands and has a solo acoustic act that includes music from James Taylor, The Eagles, Neil Young and many of your classic rock favorites.
